With the New Year just around the corner, we've rounded up our favorite bakeries for specific baked goods. Here’s where to find the best of each:

For the Best Pain au Chocolat: Milk Bakery
Located in Jaffa, Milk Bakery is a charming, small bakery known for its amazing French-style pastries. Their standout item is the pain au chocolat. With the head baker’s background from Lenôtre, this pastry will transport you straight to France.
For the Best Kouign Amann: Delicatessen
I’m generally not a big fan of the hype around Delicatessen or their baked goods, but I went all over Tel Aviv to try different kouign amann, and I can honestly say that Delicatessen does an amazing job. It’s buttery, flaky, decadent, and absolutely delicious.
For the Best Bagel: Ben Dod Bagels

Located in Florentine, Ben Dod Bagels is a newer bakery, but it serves the perfect bagel. I always get the everything bagel and I am partial to it, though all of their bagels are fantastic.
For the Best Bread: Hagay Bread

Hands down, the best bread in Tel Aviv. I’ve tried several kinds of their bread loaves, and each one has been incredible. The classic choice, however, is their sourdough.
For the Best Burekas: Mies Borekas

Absolutely divine borekas. I prefer the smaller versions over the bigger pastries, and their mini aubergine borekas are some of the best you’ll ever taste. The mini aubergines sell out quickly, so be sure to get there and grab them while they're still available.
Was looking for the best bagles in town! I couldn't find anything that makes me not miss NYC! Will check Ben Dod out!!
